The Teachers' Retirement Agency (TRA) is the parent company of Teachers Money. The TRA is recognised as one of the leading providers of one-day retirement courses for teachers in the UK. Endorsed by the Times Educational Supplement, the highly acclaimed TRA seminars have been operating nationally for over 15 years and are booked by thousands of schools and individual teachers across the UK each year.

We decided to launch Teachers Money due to the growing demand from mid-career teachers for access to professional financial advice and guidance. Often, this has been in response to children going to university, long-term care needs for parents, income protection, mortgage advice, pension planning and related areas.

Additionally, many teachers recognise the long-term nature of investments, additional voluntary contributions (AVCs) and pension planning. Putting in place a thoroughly prepared financial plan during the mid-career phase of teaching can lead to a more secure and prosperous later life for yourself and, where appropriate, your children.

The financial speakers on our seminars are BBT Group Limited, who have worked with thousands of teachers over many years through their specialist departments. They provide a comprehensive overview of financial matters affecting teachers and explain how to structure an effective financial plan.
